RATES:
Farmhouse Gite Accomodation Rates:
Available UK school/college summer holidays
only. (Sorry, no children under 5 years of age)
1650 €uros per week -
Discount for the second week of a 2 week booking
and week begining 30th August of 100 €uros.
Available from 5th July - 6th September (last week for booking beginning August 30th).
Rates include the following provisions:
exclusive use of pool and tennis court (see
Farmhouse Gite terms and conditions 9b below);
water;
electricity;
gas;
bed-linen all cotton sheets;
house towels;
a reasonable supply of kitchen and utility accessories for
your first 2 days (ie. washing-up liquid; aluminium foil;
cling film; toilet rolls; dishwasher and washing machine
detergent).
Except in Low Season and October when heating may be an additional extra.
We will supply you for your complete stay
paper kitchen towels, bin liners & tea towels.
We will also give you a few arrival essentials
(tea bags, coffee, sugar, fresh-bread, cheese, milk, concentrated
orange juice, olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper).
We will happily do a shop for you (payable
by you) if you let us have your shopping list at least 3
days in advance of your arrival.

Bed & Breakfast Accommodation Rates:
B&B: 60 €uros
for 2, per night including Continental breakfast - minimum stay 2 nights.
ONE NIGHT ONLY STAY is 80 euros per room for 2 per night including Continental breakfast, but no extra charge for use of tennis court.
English breakfast available at an extra charge upon request
- charge is dependent on what is required.
Continental breakfast: Orange or apple juice;
yogurt; fresh warm french bread and warm croissants;
choice of jams; honey; marmalade; tea of coffee.
2 large eggs with toast, scrambled, fried or boiled = 1.5
€uros extra per person.
We are happy for you to supply your own cereal and we will
supply you with your milk free of charge.
Optional evening meal including some local
wine 20 €uros. Evening meals to be ordered in advance
(before noon). On day of arrival: Evening meal needs to
be ordered no later than previous day.
USE OF TENNIS COURT - 10 €uros

Booking Terms and Conditions for Farmhouse
Gite accommodation
1) The property known as Les Deux Chênes
farmhouse (the Property), is offered for holiday rental
subject to the confirmation by Vivienne Forrester and David
Owen, (the Owners), to the renter, (the Client). The Client
is deemed to be acting on behalf of all members of the party
and that they have read, understood and agreed all terms
and conditions.
2) To reserve the Property, the Client should
complete and sign the Booking Form and return it together
with payment of the initial deposit, being 550 €uros
per week or a £ sterling payment dependant on the
agreed exchange rate at the time together with a signed
copy of the Terms and Conditions. Cheques should be
made payable to Vivienne Forrester. Following receipt of
the Booking Form and deposit, the Owners will send a confirmation
invoice and statement. This is the formal acceptance of
the booking.
3) The deposit is non-refundable.
4) The balance of the rent, together with
security deposit is payable not less than eight weeks before
the start of the rental period. If payment is not received
by the due date, the Owners reserve the right to give notice
in writing that the reservation is cancelled. Reservations
made within eight weeks of the start of the rental period
require full payment with security deposit payment at the
time of booking.
5) A security deposit of £150 (sterling)
per booking is required at the same time as the final payment
in case of, for example, damage to the Property or its contents.
However, the sum reserved by this clause shall not limit
the Clients liability to the Owners. The Owners will account
to the Client for the security deposit and refund the balance
due within two weeks after the end of the rental period.
Any chargeable expenses arising during the rental period
(for example, any loss, breakages or damage etc.,) will
be deducted from the deposit. All loss, breakages or damage,
must be reported to the Owners as soon as possible.
6) The Client is strongly recommended to arrange
a comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation
cover) and to have full cover for the party's personal belongings
etc., since these are not covered by the Owner's insurance.
7) The rental period shall commence at 5:00
p.m. on the first day and finish at 10.00 a.m. on the
last day. The Owners shall not be obliged to offer accommodation
before the time stated and the Client shall not be entitled
to remain in occupation after the time stated.
All persons who stay in the Property must
be named on the booking form at the time of booking and
no other person(s) may stay in the Property or use its facilities
without the written permission of the Owners. If permission
is given an extra charge may be made.
8) The Client agrees to be a considerate and
law-abiding tenant, and to take good care of the Property
and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end
of the rental period. The Owners reserve the right to take
a retention from the security deposit to cover additional
cleaning if the Client does not leave the Property in the
state they found it on arrival.
9) The Owners agree that the Client complying
with these terms and conditions may quietly enjoy the Property
during the rental period without undue interference from
the Owners. However,
a) the Owners (who will be living in a cottage
within the grounds of the Property) reserve the right
to be about the grounds on a daily basis to attend to
the gardens, pool and vegetable garden and do any necessary
maintenance including pool cleaning and grass cutting.
b) The
Owners reserve the right to use both the tennis court
and the swimming pool for brief periods when these and
the adjacent areas are not in use by the Client.

c) The Client shall permit the Owners and anyone authorised
by the Owners to enter the Property for the purposes of
repair to the Property and/or its contents.
d) The Client shall permit the Owners and anyone authorised
by the Owners to enter the Property in the event of the
Owners suspecting the Property being abused by the Client.
e) The Owners reserve the right to enter the Property
without prior authorisation by the Client in the event
of an emergency likely to cause damage to person(s) or
property.
10) The Client agrees not to act in a way
which would cause disturbance to our neighbours.
11) The Client and party acquire no rights
whatsoever over the property excepting occupation as a holiday
let for the rental period booked. The Client shall not sub-let
the Property.
12) The Client shall report to the Owners
without delay any defects in the Property or breakdowns
in any equipment, plant, machinery or appliances in the
Property or garden and arrangements for repair and/or replacement
will be made by the Owners as soon as possible.
The Owners shall not be liable to the Client
either jointly or severally for:
a) any temporary defect or stoppage in the
supply of public services to the Property, nor in respect
of any equipment, plant, machinery or appliance in the
Property or garden.
b) any loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse
weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or other matters
beyond the control of the Owners.
c) any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered
by the Client if the Property shall be destroyed or substantially
damaged before the start of the rental period, and in
such event, the Owners shall within seven days of the
notification to the Client, refund to the Client all sums
previously paid in respect of the rental period.
13) Children must be supervised at all times
14) Diving into the pool is not permitted
nor is running around the pool nor is the use of sharp objects
or glassware in or around the pool. Guests must shower before
entering the pool. Guests must place a pool towel over sun-lounger
and swing-chair cushions to protect them from perspiration
and sun-tan lotion.
15) Please note that the house (particularly
bedrooms) contain some low beams, low doors and changes
in floor level.
16) Only toilet paper is to be placed down
the loos. Small bins are provided beside each WC for other
toiletries, lollipop sticks and sweet wrappers etc.
17) The tennis court is for the sole use of
playing tennis. Only proper, non-marking, tennis shoes without
dark soles or heavy treads are permitted on the tennis court.
18) Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside
the property..
19) No responsibility can be accepted for
any loss or damage to Clients belongings, motor vehicle
or its contents. A small electronic safe is provided for
your use.
20) The bringing of pets or any other animals
onto the Property is forbidden.
21) The Client must provide their own pool
towels which must be large enough to protect the sun-lounger
and swing chair cushions from perspiration and sun-tan lotion.
22) The Client shall clean grease etc. from
plates and pans with kitchen paper before washing in sink
or dishwasher.
23) The Client shall use only the cleaning
products provided free of charge by the Owners.
24) On departure the Client must leave the
Property as they found it: in a clean and tidy state. In
particular, the Client must ensure toilets, showers, washbasins,
bath, cooker, BBQ and kitchen sink are left in a clean condition
and that the downstairs floors have all been swept and all
carpets hovered. All cutlery, crockery, pots, pans, glasses,
cooking utensils, books, videos, games, TV controls etc.
are to be returned where they came from. An extra cleaning
fee of up to £50 will be deducted from the security
deposit if these have not been observed.

Booking Terms and Conditions for Cottage
Gite accommodation
1) The property known as Les Deux Chênes
Cottage (the Property), is offered for holiday rental subject

(the Owners), to the renter, (the Client). The Client is

sterling payment dependant on the agreed exchange rate at
the time together with a signed copy of the Terms and
Conditions.. Cheques should be made payable to Vivienne
Forrester. Following receipt of the Booking Form and deposit,
the Owners will send a confirmation invoice and statement.
This is the formal acceptance of the booking.

Booking Terms and Conditions for B&B
accommodation:
1)
£40 cheque deposit per room (or 60 €uros-cheque)....... must be sent and arrive with us
within 5 days of booking being made. This deposit is non-refundable
if the booking is cancelled 5 days or less before the due
date of arrival.
2) Credit cards are not accepted. Outstanding
payment at end of visit must be by UK cheque or cash in
sterling (at an exchange rate agreed with the owners), Eurocheque
or cash in Euros.
3) Guests must arrive after 3:00pm on the day
of their arrival and leave by 11:00 am on the day of their
departure.
4) Children must be supervised at all times.
5) Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside
the property
6) Only proper, non-marking, tennis shoes
without dark soles or heavy tread soles are permitted on
the tennis court.
7) The tennis court is available for use at
a daily charge of 10 €uros
per couple or group of 3 or 4.
At all times the tennis court is to be used for the sole
purpose of playing tennis.'
